We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our multi doctor practice. In addition to comprehensive training to fully prepare you for success as one of our Dental Assistants, you will be guided through our New Hire Global Training which will introduce you to all aspects of the dental practice so that you have a greater understanding of how best to support your colleagues. A team atmosphere is our goal here at Babylon Dental Care, and we’re looking for great people to join us. Job Details
- Assist the doctor during dental procedures
- Create a smooth, efficient, and carefree experience for all patients
- Take digital X-rays
- Prepare tray setups, sterilize equipment, and maintain adequate supply levels
- Update patient charts in our system, including updated medical record history
- Take oral impressions
Job Requirements
- CDA/RDA Certification welcome but not required
- 1-year dental assistant experience
- Working knowledge of Dentrix a plus
- Upbeat, friendly disposition
- Motivated self-starter
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policy
- Flexible to work between our two locations in Patchogue and West Babylon

- Mandatory temperature check for all employees and patients before they enter the office
- PPE including gowns, head covers, face guards, gloves, and masks
- Cleaning of all communal areas every hour
- At the end of each day, our practices are environmentally cleaned and fumigated with a fog that kills any remaining traces of the virus
