JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Services Technician will set up and break down all Production Bays daily. Position requires knowledge of workflows in a production/manufacturing environment, and the ability to communicate effectively. Directs production employees to meet daily assigned targets. Drives quality process accountability of the production floor workforce. Documents and reports daily work results to the Production Manager. This is a highly flexible position and will be counted on to assist in other areas of Production as directed by the Production Manager.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Works with the Production Manager to understand job specifications, special requirements, and due dates.
- Direct production employees regarding work assignments.
- Monitor production bays to replenish supplies as needed request materials via departmental software.
- Point person for maintaining in-place quality processes and documenting outcomes and variations.
- Quality Assurance for ongoing projects worked in bays for accuracy.
- Ensures adherence to procedures, regulations, and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.
- Works with the Production Manager to complete-time study requirements as needed.
- Assists with annual audit preparation.
- Immediately reports any production-related issues to the Production Manager.
- Responsible for proper counting and documenting all non-inventoried materials received by BAC for In Center contracts/projects.
- Participates in departmental meetings on a regular basis.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of related experience in manufacturing or production
- A combination of education and experience may suffice for the above requirements
- Must satisfy Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Level 2 background screening requirements.
- Valid Florida Drivers License and proof of Auto Insurance required prior to driving BAC vehicles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in a related field
- Previous experience regarding a Quality Management program.
- Experience working around adults with developmental disabilities and/or physical challenges preferred.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions to perform this job successfully.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of departmental and organization policies, applicable laws, procedures, and processes
- Knowledge of specialized quality control software systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, departmental management and other BAC employees
- Experience in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to be trained in specialized software related to departmental operations
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and common-sense skills
- Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow.
- Must possess a flexible approach to change, and a positive team spirit.
- Detail-oriented in the execution and follow-up of work.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
TRAVEL
This position requires local travel within the workday. No overnight travel is expected.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Tasks involve the periodic performance of moderately physically demanding work, usually involving lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (up to 30 pounds). Tasks that require moving objects of significant weight require the assistance of another person and/or the use of proper techniques and moving equipment. Tasks may involve some climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The above tasks can be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Tasks are regularly performed inside and/or outside with potential for exposure to adverse environmental conditions (e.g., heat, dirt, cold, rain, fumes), in a production/manufacturing and warehouse setting.
SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Some tasks require manual dexterity, in addition to visual and hearing acuity.
Availability: Full Time
Rate of Pay: $17.50 per hour
