POSITION DUTIES:
- Assist Growers in the production of greenhouse crops - watering, fertilization, environmental control, application of crop protection products, identification of insect, disease and nutrient issues
- Learn all duties and requirements involved with crop production and greenhouse operation
- Provide work direction to lower classifications
- Work rotating weekend shift
- Assist in other areas as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of one season of greenhouse production experience.
- Must be able and willing to obtain chemical applicators license if necessary
- Minimum of one season of greenhouse production experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to operate motorized equipment according to set standards
- Must be able to perform physical work including moving and/or lifting up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to move and/or lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis from ground level up to 5 ½ feet.
