Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The position is part-time, you would be either Friday or Saturday night most weeks, occasionally both nights. Pay is $10 an hour, plus tips. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in seating guests efficiently while maintaining proper social distancing
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth flow of service
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing any concerns or special requests

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and hospitality industry standards
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and grace
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of food service procedures is a plus
