Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate DRG codes based on documentation and guidelines
- Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to assign diagnosis and procedure codes
- Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and billing details
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing (personal injury/Commercial Insurance) or coding
-Participating in Depositions
- Proficient in working with DRG coding systems
- Strong knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients

Pay: $16.15 - $19.23 per hour
