Mosquito/Pest Control Technician

Backyard Pest Control is expanding again this season and are hiring for seasonal full time technicians.

We are seeking a mosquito control technician to join our team. As a mosquito control technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties and implementing effective mosquito control solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers and a strong commitment to quality service. We offer hourly pay plus have a sale and production bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify mosquito infestations
• Develop and implement effective mosquito control solutions that meet the specific needs of each property
• Communicate with customers to explain treatment options, provide recommendations, and answer any questions or concerns
• Keep accurate records of all mosquito control treatments and inspections
• Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid pest control/mosquito control license/certification is preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
