A small-batch pickle company is seeking a part-time Farmers Market Associate that is 21 years to help us expand our business!

If you’re a foodie or farmers market lover who is looking for a fun work environment and you have excellent people & sales skills, you may be a great match for this position.

The Farmers Market Associate will be responsible for loading a vehicle (yours or ours), driving to market, setting up an easy-up 10’x10’ tent & tables, selling pickles during the market timeframe, breaking down the set up, & returning the pickle buckets back to our commercial kitchen location.

The markets you will attend operate at the following locations at the times listed plus travel time from the commercial kitchen to the Market and back, plus set-up, & breakdown time before & after each market:

  • Herndon: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Wakefield: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Warrenton: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Haymarket: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Candidates for this job will be able to:

  • Lift 50 lbs.
  • Show their valid driver’s license
  • Provide a copy of a clean driving record
  • Be punctual
  • Communicate clearly and in a friendly, pleasant manner
  • Maintain a neat & tidy appearance
  • Be available on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday

Compensation offered is $500/week base pay plus commission on amounts exceeding our minimum sales at each market.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $500.00 per week

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week

Shift:

  • Evening shift
  • Morning shift

Weekly day range:

  • Every weekend

Work Location: In person
