Carryout Specialist
Who you are:
Our carryout team is responsible for coordinating an entire carry out station and communicating with the kitchen personnel to provide an exceptional dining experience to our carry out guests. Carryout team members will welcome guests to the restaurant, takes phone orders, helps guests find menu choices, ensure accuracy of all orders, packs orders, and responds to guest needs in a prompt and friendly manner. An ideal candidate is friendly, organized, energetic, detail orientated and has great communication skills.
What you’ll do:
- Greet all carry out guests
- Take orders over the phone, online orders and delivery orders, ensuring accuracy
- Answer phone calls using company script in a fast and friendly manner
- Input orders into the computer system for the kitchen correctly and in an efficient manner
- Estimating pick up times for customers
- Package food and beverage orders, condiments, and appropriate items promptly and accurately
- Ensure items are prepared properly and on a timely basis, following the standards set by the restaurant
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help them with the menu selections
- Handle cash and credit transactions; accurately account for all receivables including cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and clean up at all times
- Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
- Prepping sauce bottles and stock for use during and after the shift
- Prepping entire catering orders for guests
- Performs basic cleaning duties during service to ensure your area is clean and organized
