We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal office admin support candidate will be an energetic, positive person, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our Grand Rapids office needs someone who can work independently, multi-task, is efficient in time management and is comfortable prioritizing work projects.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answering the phone to assist clients and vendors
- Making outbound calls to clients and vendors as required for customer service and follow up
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. An associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
