PR Associate
Seeking a part time PR Associate to support day-to-day execution of PR and/or Social Media programs under the supervision of other PR staff. In this role, you will execute foundational activities such as media list development, media pitching, news release and article writing, social media content development, PR monitoring and reporting activities.

Examples of support you could provide:
  • Assist PR practitioners in completing project details on specific tactics or projects.
  • Maintain and update BR clients’ media lists.
  • Distribute BR clients’ news releases.
  • Assist with editorial coverage monitoring and monitoring reports.
  • Research client, business, industry, consumer or trend data.
  • Execute foundational activities including news release and article writing, media pitching and general content development.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should already have taken courses related to Public Relations, Marketing and/or Journalism and have at least one related internship on their resume. If you are detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and enjoy a dynamic, team environment, this could be a great fit for you. Be prepared to show some writing samples during the interview process.

This is intended to be a part time hourly position (up to 30 hours a week) and will provide invaluable exposure to a full-service ad agency environment. Ideal candidates will be able to be on-site in our Milwaukee or Chicago office.
