About Us: At Badger Railing, we specialize in fabricating custom metal products. We're seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a full-time Designer/Project Manager. Position Overview: As a Designer/Project Manager at Badger Railing you will play a crucial role in managing projects from initial design through installation. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and our fabrication shop to bring innovative metal products to life. Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD Lt and Autodesk Advance Steel software to create shop drawings for stairs, railings, ladders, and other metal products.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and our fabrication team to address design challenges.
• Manage project schedules and handle scope changes in coordination with customers.
• Conduct field measurements of existing conditions.
• Efficiently order materials and track project costs.
• Provide guidance to our shop and field employees, offering solutions to fabrication or installation queries.

Position Details:

• Location: On-premise at our Milwaukee fabrication shop.
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
• Overtime: Available for those interested but not mandatory.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software.
• Familiarity with general construction techniques.
• Knowledge of architectural, structural, and civil drawing sets.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Willingness to pass a drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
