STORE OPENS FROM 1PM-11PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Shift Leader supervises fellow coworkers while they work, monitor their performance, ensure they comply with company and safety policies, and delegate tasks appropriately, and breaks co workers off to break/lunch.
- Responsible for opening and/or closing the store
- Leads by example: motivates, teaches, evaluates and develops team members by taking initiative and delivering outstanding customer service through positive leadership
- Manages the store appearance, maintenance and atmosphere by completing and delegating tasks found on the “Daily Checklist” of items
- Ensures product and paper goods are fully stocked, responsible for inventory levels
- Maintains store security and a safe working environment for employees and customers
- Acts through a customer relationship lens; able to maintain effective relationships with customers by gaining trust and respect
- Able to create a team willing to provide top-notch customer service with service ability, quality and emotional connections
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Valid CA food handler’s certification
- Be able to work alone, unsupervised as necessary
- Ability to stand and move around for a full work shift and have the ability to lift approx. 50 lbs
- Must be detail oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
