Warehouse Supervisor II

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor that maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions.

• Develops and coordinates safety measures and training programs. Train, instruct, and supervise bargaining unit employees and salary employees safely and to policy.
• Develop, maintain, and record metrics for both bargaining unit and salary employees to present to management. Hold each person accountable to policy and process and remain compliant at all times.
• Develop cross training programs to ensure a staff that can always cover all areas needed. Will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing material along with paperwork, preparation, labeling, and put away of all material associated with shipping and receiving.
• Knowing the packaging needs for shipping and receiving and having those items ordered and delivered in the correct area before associate needs them.
  
  
  

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Associates degree with 4 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving OR High school diploma with 6 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving.
  
  
  

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Advanced Excel experience with knowledge of formulas and pivot tables
• Data base knowledge of entry and maintenance
• Knowledge of BOL's, Packing lists Pro and tracking numbers, and logistic carriers websites.
• Oracle ERP experience preferred
  
  
  

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
