Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Computer and Information Research Scientist to join our team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing (HPC) Modernization Program (DoD HPCMP) located at the Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Develops, transforms, and models data to improve decision making. Responsible for data extraction and manipulation of data sets. Creates workflows and predictive models for end-users using system tools. Conducts statistical analysis on data to ensure correct predictive forecasting. Manages the analytics request process by capturing requirements. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of surveys and deciphering survey analytics.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of working experience (equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - 2 years’ experience in various HPC systems, various HPC technologies:
- Cray/Cray EX, IBM, SGI, Penguin, or custom architectures
- Linux variants OS
- InfiniBand (IB), Intel Omni-Path interconnects
- Portable Batch System (PBS), Simple Linux Utility for Resource Management (SLURM), or IBM Platform Load Sharing Facility (LSF) schedulers
- Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC, or ARM CPUs
- Nvidia graphic processing units (GPU)s
- ITIL Foundation
- 8570.01M/ IAT-II
