Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking Covert Action (CA) Officers to support a client’s operational requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful CA Officer candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Responsibilities include supporting the collection of foreign intelligence vital to national security policymakers, using your military experience to support operations from the office or in austere environments. CA Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately and clearly while working collaboratively in a team environment. Candidates should be leaders supporting operations.
The position requires an active Security Clearance with Polygraph; there is no exception to the clearance requirement. Successful candidates will work well in team environments and also be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be expected to professionally interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Level 4 requires 12 years of related work experience; Level 5 requires 20 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Served on active duty with the US Armed Forces in Special Operations, Combat Arms, Aviation, or Aviation-related specialties
- Successful completion of specialized paramilitary training
- Personal integrity and the ability to operate with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as work independently
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of, and experience in, the fundamentals of intelligence operations
- Active Security Clearance with Polygraph
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
- Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
- Minimum of 8 years of active duty experience
- Experience serving in multiple leadership positions generating a proven record of responsibility and critical decision-making in stressful situations
- Experience serving in combat and conducting combat operations; multiple tours, particularly in leadership positions
- Foreign languages skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
