Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for a highly motivated Principal Hardware Lead to join our Transition to Production, Production Support and Sustainment team as a Lead supporting one of our ECS Product Lines. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex microwave modules, submodules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems utilized across multiple projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.
Activities day to day will vary and may include:

• Assessing design updates to existing microwave designs
• Delegating tasking to less experienced engineers and technicians
• Technical management of subcontractors
• Working with hardware suppliers
• Supporting product yield and affordability improvements
• Supporting production issues in assembly, test/debug, quality and managing overall workload of the HW team supporting production
• Working in partnership with a cross functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• An Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience (12 with AA degree) working on RF/Microwave and digital products preferably in the defense industry
• Experience testing and troubleshooting complex EW systems
• Experience supporting a production environment
• Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
• Excellent problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
• Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in RF/Microwave subsystem, module and circuit design and development
• Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plans
• Experience transitioning product from design to production

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
