Job Description
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
As a Lead Operations Program you will lead and execute the operations scope of work for developing a new electronic warfare suite of hardware for the F-35 aircraft. In order to accomplish this, you will partner with your engineering, program management and other functions to drive schedule and bring the designs to life. You will be a lead on a team inclusive of other OPM’s that work across this large and complex development program.
This role will require a leader that is:
- Comfortable living in the unknown and charting a path forward to deliver results
- Organized and effective communicator across multiple mediums
- Confident and skilled at influencing change at multiple levels
- Excellent in creative, outside the box, thinking
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of, and operating in, a defense contacting environment
- Excellent Control Account Management knowledge and financial/business acumen
- Robust risk and opportunity management experience
- Experience in supplier management and supply chain management practices and strategies
- Strong passion for Bringing hardware designs to life from early in the design cycle to full rate transition to production.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- MBA or advanced degree
- PMP certification or similar
- Experience in electronics manufacturing
- Large scale development program and transition to production efforts
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
