Job Description BAE Systems Intelligence & Security is searching for a Program Finance Manager. This position supports and serves as a business partner to the Mission Solutions business unit within the Integrated Defense Solutions (IDS) Business Area. IDS provides expert systems engineering, integration, and sustainment services for C4ISR systems and enterprise IT that enhance mission effectiveness. These solutions are deployed across Army, Navy, and federal civilian agency platforms and networks in the land, air, sea, and cyber domains.
As the Program Finance Manager, you will lead a team of 7 Program Financial Analysts and assume financial responsibility for the business unit. You will be expected to interface with the Business Unit Director and Program Management staff, providing all financial support required to their larger teams. You will also be expected to effectively manage and lead your Program Finance team. This is a working manager role and the role is the primary financial analyst on a major Seaport-e LCM contract. LOCATION: listed as Mt. Laurel, NJ, where the Aegis Techrep contract is located; however, the actual location is OPEN since the position supports multiple contracts across various locations.
Key responsibilities include:
All Business Unit financial performance, forecasting and reporting of key Financial Salients – Bookings, Orders, Revenue, Profit, and Cash.
Financial Performance and Reporting to include the monthly Financial Closing activities, Program Performance Reviews (PPR), Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Ad-Hoc Variance Analysis
Forecasting (Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP1 & IBP2)
Employee development and recognition (Annual Reviews, Training & employee recognition activities). Required Skills and Education
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to obtain / maintain the required security clearance
Preferred Skills and Education CostPoint experience
Familiarity with various financial reports such as Contract Financial Summaries/Project Status Reports, General Ledger reports, and Estimates to Complete
Experience with Subcontractor Time Collections System(STCS)
Familiarity with financial/accounting software/databases
Experience with government contracts/finance
