BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Scheduler to lead a 15-person scheduling team in developing a once-in-a-lifetime Enterprise Integrated Master Scheduling (EIMS) for one of the Department of Defense’s largest and most complex weapons systems. The Sentinel, formerly known as the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program is a mega-program located at Hill AFB, Utah that is developing the replacement for the Minuteman III program. This position will develop and manage a schedule that is forecasted to exceed 150K lines of schedule. The position interacts directly with the Senior Government customers and BAE Systems senior managers. This position will support across the spectrum of program acquisition, sustainment, integration, scheduling baseline control, analysis, and reporting.
The ICBM Systems Directorate (ICBMSD) Sentinel Program, formerly known as Ground Based Strategic Deterrent Division, is acquiring an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile system to replace the Minuteman III system. To successfully field a new weapon system, the Sentinel program requires a comprehensive program operations and execution strategy that helps position the organization to meet all acquisition milestones. The BAE Integration Support Contract (ISC) not only assists in the acquisition and technical sustainment, but also helps train and develop this capability in the government for the long term. This contract augments organic government resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for system engineering and integration, risk management, schedule management, technical assessment, acquisition program management, strategy development, organization and change management, interface with operations and logistics, business analysis, and mission effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain multiple project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 software
- Obtain from participating groups monthly progress updates to schedule activities and consolidate into the project master schedule
- Import contractor schedules into Primavera enterprise project structure and integrate into Sentinel IMS
- Review and analyze government and contractor program schedule (duration, activity constraints, relationships, critical path) to highlight variances and potential schedule risks
- Strong experience in preparation of reports inclusive of impacts, logic changes, float and delays.
- Perform Schedule Risk Assessments
- Build collaborative internal relationships with program and project teams, as well as external relationships with customers, regulatory bodies, other agencies and business partners
- Work with IMS stakeholders to ensure scheduling best practices are implemented across the ICBM System Directorate
- Interface regularly with the government counterpart to comply with evolving support requirements and mission objectives

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors degree and 10 years of applicable experience (8 years with a Master's degree)
Demonstrated Oracle Primavera P6 capability and demonstrated leadership ability in planning, building, maintaining and keeping status on multiple project schedules and integrating them at the enterprise level
Familiarity with cost schedule, performance and risk
Knowledge of project management best practices
Demonstrated human relations, and effective communications skills
Must be able to obtain DoD Secret security clearance (or higher) and be eligible to obtain Special Program access. The criteria for obtaining clearance is set by the US Government. You must be a US Citizen.

- Understanding of DoD/DOE acquisition and program management process
- Innovator with continuous improvement mindset
- Experience in lean management, CMMI and root cause analysis
- Experience with schedule risk analysis and DCMA 14-point assessments
- Working knowledge of DID 81861 and 81466A
