Baer is looking for SAP EHS Functional Consultant for a 6 month project located in Houston, TX.

Title: SAP EHS Consultant
Location: Remote 50% Travel to Houston, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 (C2C Not Permitted)

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage SAP EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) module implementations and upgrades.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP EHS solutions.
  • Configure and customize SAP EHS modules to meet business needs, including Product Safety, Hazardous Substance Management, and Industrial Hygiene.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments, interfaces, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, QM, and PM.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP EHS best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and key stakeholders.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and issue resolution during project lifecycle.
  • Support post-implementation activities, including system optimization, maintenance, and user support.
  • Stay current with SAP EHS enhancements, new releases, and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement.

Required Experience:
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP EHS.
  • At least 4 full lifecycle SAP EHS implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP EHS modules, including configuration and customization.
  • Experience with SAP EHS functionalities such as Product Safety, Dangerous Goods Management, Hazardous Substance Management, and Industrial Hygiene.
