Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the dental office
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for dental restorations
- Familiarity with medical coding for insurance billing purposes
Requirements:
- Valid dental license in the state of practice
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Proficient in using dental software and electronic health records systems
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on industry advancements
