What You'll be Doing:

- Safely operating a garbage truck to collect solid waste along specified routes
- Loading and unloading roll-off containers at customer sites with precision and care
- Following assigned routes and servicing each customer as directed by the dispatcher
- Performing routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency
- Interacting courteously with customers while delivering top-notch service
- Performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Hold a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement
- Able to drive manual truck no restrictions
- Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in English
- Basic knowledge of truck components to complete pre- and post-trip inspections
- Physically able to handle heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds
- OK with exposure to various weather conditions and moderate noise levels
- Can adhere to basic safety precautions to mitigate physical risks
- Available to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, averaging 50-55 hours per week with paid overtime
- Maintain a clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Compensation: $25/hr (DOE)
- $2500 Sign-On Bonus
