The Baird IT Operations team is looking for an energetic individual that enjoys problem-solving, making a difference, and creating effective solutions. The IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for technical planning, implementation, monitoring, and support of the file transmission including but not limited to secure file transmissions, job scheduling and data encryption.
This is a hybrid opportunity working 2-3 days/week onsite at our Milwaukee, WI, Louisville, KY or Madison, WI office
As a Systems Analyst, you will:
- Work closely with delivery teams to design and implement new jobs and workflows within the file transmission environments to support daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly file transmission processes.
- Help support our *NIX environments through automation, standards, and monitoring.
- Analyze and support existing processes, objects, code, and workflows to ensure implementation of best practices and continuous improvement.
- Look for opportunities for standardization and modernization through automation and cloud exploration.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment, participate in an on-call rotation, and have experience responding to client needs as raised in Service Desk tickets.

What we look for:
- Two-year degree in Computer Science or related field or combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one to three years experience in a technical role with experience troubleshooting in a large environment. Financial industry experience a plus.
- Demonstrate a desire to learn and grow technical skills.
- Experience with Azure is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple and understandable explanations and work across multiple IT teams effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with industry-standard, third-party management tools is strongly desired; including SFTP, PGP, Connect Direct, and AutoSys.
