Summary: Directs and coordinates activities of warehouse and transportation operations to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel by performing the following duties personally or through associates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain reports for GM with clear actions for deficiencies as well as opportunities.
  • Reviews results of warehouse and transportation operations.
  • Review sales levels.
  • Manages and prioritizes, projects, and schedules.
  • Responsible for all areas of inventory control.
  • Responsible for sanitation and physical condition of warehouse, material handling equipment, and rolling stock.
  • Schedules and supervises all repairs as needed.
  • Responsible for managing food safety and security for the branch.
  • Responsible for the safety of departmental associates and visitors.
  • Ensures compliance with warehouse and transportation.
  • Directs salvage of products identified as damaged or spoiled.
  • Works closely with union representatives at bargaining unit Branches.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or 5 years of equivalent experience.
  • PCQI Certification required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
