Our Drilling and completions Fluids business provides intelligent, connected technologies to support, monitor and control drilling processes. We provide innovative solutions across multiple geographies. Providing customers with the excellent solutions needed to reliably and efficiently improve their operations.
Partner with the best
Receives inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations. Stock received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production. Pick materials, components and end products and deliver them to Production or shipping. Perform cycle counts. Prepare components kits for production, fill orders and supplier subcontract parts. May be responsible for contacting and coordinating with freight forwarders for pick up or delivery of goods. May be responsible for preparing all of the necessary paperwork (i.e. bill of lading, shipping paperwork, etc). Responsible for training new team members. Special projects as assigned.
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving inbound material in accordance with Baker Hughes Inspection Technologies procedures.
- Pulling material needed to fulfill new flow orders and production orders.
- Coordinating shipping and delivery of all new sale, spare and service orders to customers.
- Processing all transactions in SAP according to standard procedure.
- Communicating with internal parties to coordinate delivery of parts and materials to meet project/service demand.
- Enforcing and maintain safety in the warehouse, adhering to standard warehouse guidelines, and following the Baker Hughes policies.
- Any other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role you will:
- High School Diploma
- Material handling skills/experience – movement of parts and materials (in boxes) using the appropriate handling equipment
- Computer skills a must – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience using a forklift and pallet jacks
- Good written and verbal communication
- Safety first attitude, Customer service oriented, Detail oriented, Ability to work independently.
