Essential Functions |
• New hire IT Orientation to include hardware and software setup, drive mapping, printer installation, and overview of network shares and IT policies. • Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots software, hardware and peripheral components (e.g. monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives) throughout the Baker Roofing Company. • Patch compliance • Performs software/hardware upgrades as needed. • Responds to software/hardware problems on site or over the phone. • Investigates errors and determines resolution. • Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applications. • Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements. • Provides updates, status and completion Information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication. • Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction. • Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications. • Administers e-mail and anti-virus systems. • Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands |
Climbing, lifting (Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly, over 50 lbs. occasionally), walking, standing, installing, positioning, kneeling, and moving.
