Enterprise BIM Manager

We are seeking an ambitious, Enterprise-Wide BIM Manager to lead and coordinate all strategies, standards, practices and functions across all Bala offices. This individual will require a broad range of skills in order to focus on developing policy and implementing change in order to best drive efficiencies across all offices.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• 
  Chair the company’s BIM Committee and oversee the efforts of BIM leads in each office.
• Oversee the adoption, use and maintenance of all software required to increase efficiency in the project production and delivery process.
• Develop a vigorous and continuous program to research, investigate, test, adopt, and implement technologies that will keep Bala at the forefront of the industry.
• Partner with each office’s BIM lead to test, evaluate and establish customize training programs for all staff members.
• Share knowledge and ideas with all internal stakeholders.
• Issue reports regularly to the COO and CFO on the status of upgrades and budgetary requirements for future technology adoptions.
• Identify, implement, and promote the use of integration tools that enhance the workflow and final product.
• Develop BIM enhancements in current and future programs which automate to increase coordination among the consultant group.
• Customize routines to enhance Bala-specific delivery processes.
• Cooperate with other managers to refine the enterprise-wide workflow strategies as technology evolves.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team to further develop strategies to enhance project completeness and quality.
• Maintain the Bala BIM Implementation plan and update as required by upgrades or changes in the industry.
• Continuously update and refine Bala BIM manuals, processes and drawing standards.
• Attend meetings with clients and/or other consultants in order to establish project processes.

The basic requirements for this position include:

• B.S. degree in Architecture/Engineering, or A.S degree and qualifying experience.
• 5 years of BIM experience
• 2 years in a BIM leadership role
• Autodesk Revit certification preferred
• Experience with technologies that automate engineering tasks and complement standard BIM software.
