Ideal Candidate Must-Haves:
- BA/BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years in GMP-regulated environment, with 2 years of management/leadership.
- 1 year of experience in supporting protein purification processes or technologies.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Drive positive Quality Culture and oversee on-the-floor Quality presence.
- Provide Quality direction for complex issues and technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Evaluate and approve change controls, risk assessments, deviations, and CAPAs.
- Prepare site for regulatory inspections and host audits.
- Oversee Quality metrics and mentor staff for optimal performance.
Basic Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in relevant field.
- 5 years technical/Quality experience in GMP-regulated environment.
- Minimum 2 years of management/leadership experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting protein purification processes.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Technical knowledge beyond own business area, decision-making guided by policies.
- Influential communication with internal/external stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of domestic and international GMP regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and quality systems.
