Position Summary:
As an industry leader in wholesale, retail, and residential food distribution, Baldor Specialty Foods continues to grow and evolve at a rapid pace across all departments. The Team Member will help the team succeed to accomplish the company's goals and provide your expertise on different projects and duties. Each team member has specific roles and tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Be a produce expert. You bring the passion, we provide the training, and you share it with the customer.
· Create moments- share your knowledge, our produce and our sustainability practices with customers.
· Generate new customers and sales.
· Care about safety. Safe, healthy employees and customers are our number one priority.
· Contribute. Whether we need help cleaning, organizing stock or need a new innovative way to do things. Help the store with tasks, ideas and add to the overall success. This includes but not limited to:
o Receiving product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy
o Maintain clean work environment order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
o Examine and inspect stock items for defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
o Maintains knowledge of produce, provides information to customers regarding use and preparation
o Pack and unpack items to be stocked
o Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in designated areas.

o Practice FIFO/FEFO First in first out and first expired first out.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift up to 50 lbs.
· 1 years of sales or customer service experience in a consumable environment (preferred).
· A real passion for produce and respect for sustainability; ability to self-educate and educate others on the company culture.
· Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment. We need people who are resourceful, agile and willing to evolve.
· This role will also be continuously exposed to a warehouse refrigerated environment.
· This position is subject to being fulltime or part time depending on the location needs. Days and hours of work are Monday through Sundays: Hours vary by Location; typically shifts are scheduled between 5am -11pm required as job duties demand.
· Some travel to offsite locations is expected for this position. Need to be flexible to work select shifts; days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
