Job Description

Baldwin Contracting, Inc., a long time Contract Delivery Service supplier for the United States Postal Service, is currently seeking applicants to serve as a sub-contractor for mail carrier service in the Chino Valley, AZ area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have a clean 5 year driving history
• Must pass a drug test
• Must provide delivery vehicle (mini van, delivery van or large suv, ) and proper insurance to meet contract obligations. Right hand drive is preferred for efficiency.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
• Delivery parcels, Express mail and other accountable mail items as required
• Other administrative duties are required
• Adhering to ALL US Postal Service rules & regulations
• Providing EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE to ALL customers

Must be available to start immediately upon hire

• Work schedule: Monday - Saturday 7:00 am until finished, daily
• Salary: $22.73 per hour plus vehicle allowance (Hours based on average number of hours required to complete the route and calculated as daily salary)
• Health/Welfare, Vacation and Holiday compensation are already included in pay rate
• Typically, this route requires 6-8 hours of work daily, depending on volume of mail
• Vehicle allowance is included in the daily and annual salary
• Fuel required to operate the route is provided

Experience:

• USPS, FEDEX, UPS delivery; 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service and/or delivery background (preferred)

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
