Outside Roof Claims Specialist

Baldwin Roofing Company is currently looking for a Claims Advocate to join our growing team and will be a critical component in providing an excellent experience for our customers. The primary responsibilities include roof inspections, roof repair and replacement for our preferred partner claims team.

Job Skills & Duties

• Perform inspections for residential and commercial roofs provided by our preferred partnerships with insurance companies and third-party claims administrators
• Maintain documentation for each project by uploading photos, documents, and job notes into CRM database
• Act as first point of contact for homeowner for all communication prior to project being moved to production
• Collect information from homeowner such as roof replacement options, deductible, additional warranties, solar upgrades, etc.
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and must have a good driving record
• Strong customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable in outdoor environment for extended periods of time
• Flexible availability in the event of catastrophic weather
• Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; climb, balance and stoop, crouch or crawl; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladder up to 3 stories.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
