What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Construction Services position at Baldwin & Shell?
Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is searching for an experienced Project Manager who will thrive on our Construction Services Team.
The Construction Services Team at Baldwin & Shell specializes in Renovations, Expansions, Tenant Improvements, Health Care projects, and Ground Up projects typically under 5 million dollars. The Project Manager plays a key management role in the organization and implementation of the projects from start to finish. Experience in Federal projects and/or Health Care projects is a plus. You will report directly to the Senior Project Manager or Division Vice President. In this position you will manage multiple projects. Depending on various considerations, including the complexity of scope and cost, an assisting Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager may be assigned to those projects.
Every day you are relied on to:
- Coordinate all resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within the scope and budget.
- Establish & maintain relationships with third parties/vendors/subcontractors.
- Review daily job reports, manage change orders, prepare and submit pay apps, etc.
- Communicate regularly with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
- Go above and beyond to help assist your team in any way needed
To thrive, you must:
- Have three (3) to five (5) years of Project Management experience in Commercial Construction projects.
- Have experience in Federal and/or Health Care projects (though not required, is a plus).
- Have commercial construction industry knowledge.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have advanced knowledge of Project Management software.
- Be able to read construction drawings & blueprints accurately.
- Have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Have highly developed organizational and time management abilities.
- Have strong financial skills to develop, track, and analyze project budgets.
- Respond well to and actively listens to feedback.
- Be willing to learn and expand your knowledge continuously.
- Be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
- Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to Baldwin & Shell standards and processes.
