About the role:

As a Business Development Director Global, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the entire BWS Group. Your focus will be on exploring international markets to fuel growth, particularly within our Destination Experiences division.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, with a special focus on Destination Experiences.
  
• Support the Chief Business Officer (CBO) in negotiating and structuring agreements with key partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  
• Identify strategic project types and devise action plans to activate opportunities.
  
• Lead initial discussions with potential partners to define needs, objectives, and value creation.
  
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  
• Define project key parameters, objectives, and business principles, leading the negotiation phase.
  
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential markets and assess entry feasibility.
  
• Collaborate with the CBO to develop market entry strategies, considering potential risks, local business practices, and customer preferences.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
  
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the entertainment, events, or media industry.
  
• Proven track record of successfully identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, particularly in international markets.
  
• Strong understanding of international markets, with experience in conducting market research and assessing entry feasibility.
  
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster and maintain strong relationships.
  
• Strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to define project parameters and business principles.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  
• Proficiency in creating compelling presentations and proposals tailored to target clients and market dynamics.
  
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed decisions.
  
• Collaborative team player, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with resilience and determination to overcome challenges.
