Customer Support Specialist (Part Time)
Description
Provide full spectrum support to our customers and sales reps, resolve order shortages and work on special projects as needed. Reports to Customer Support Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Conduct outgoing notification calls and emails to customers on order changes as needed. Our customers expect timely and reliable information so they can make informed decisions about their order changes. In this role, you will be asked to perform investigative work involving order shortages, changes, and backordered plant material.
Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with all customers, sales reps, colleagues and supporting personnel. The support team works with all aspect of the Ball businesses. To provide “best in class” service to our customers, you will need to be adaptable and maintain positive relationships.
Gather information and enter claims to resolve customer issues. Ball stands by the quality of its products and that means doing right by the customer when quality falls short. Attention to detail is critical when helping customer with claims.
Assist customers via public email folders Providing full spectrum support is important. We serve the customers how they want to be served.
Perform a variety of customer service-related tasks as assigned. In this role, you will be asked to support the team/department by taking on additional responsibilities. This will include special projects.
Back up other Customer Relations team members as needed.
Participate in department trainings and meetings.
Requirements
Associate degree required
2-3 years of customer service experience required
Experience with SAP system
PC knowledge to include strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to understand complex business processes, roles, responsibilities and dependencies within the business
process.
Ability to work well independently and in a team.
Must be able to work for full time hours if needed to meet the needs of the business (January – April)
