The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from technologies and investments to supply chain, manufacturing and test operations, facilities management, and information technology services.

Facilities Specialist II

To provide facilities support services in any of the following areas: planning, maintenance, coordinate, materials labor, equipment. To plan and direct its productivity and effectiveness throughout the landscape season. This position will continue during the winter season in snowplow removal operation responsibilities. This position will direct and coordinate activities of the fleet maintenance and Material handling equipment department to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate company owned vehicles as required.
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle record.
  • Maintain required documentation in accordance with BATC policies and government regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of proper, horticultural & maintenance services.
  • Assist with irrigation activities as needed.
  • Snow team responsibilities may include plow driving, shoveling, and other duties during winter events.
  • Ensure fleet inspections for the company vehicles and repairs are performed
  • Ensure all defects noted on PM inspections and drivers defect reports are being repaired in a timely manner and no vehicle is released for use with any defects that affect the safe operation.
  • Assist in tracking warranty and recall repairs.
  • Prepare cost estimates.
  • Schedule and monitor subcontractors.
  • Meet with the client on site to resolve issues, provide customer service.
  • Manage and safely operate landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Review and process invoices.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 years or more related experience or a related 2-year technical degree and 4 years or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

Full-Time On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site full-time. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Relocation for this position is not available.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • HIRING SALARY RANGE: $23.08 - $30.29 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
