Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching various dance styles and techniques to students of all ages and skill levels. This is an exciting opportunity to share your love for dance and inspire others to express themselves through movement.

Duties:

- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of students

- Teach a variety of dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, etc

- Demonstrate proper dance techniques and provide constructive feedback to students

- Choreograph dance routines for performances and competitions

- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students

- Organize and conduct dance rehearsals

- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate performances and events

- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of dance

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or similar role OR current college dance students/recent graduates

- In-depth knowledge of various dance styles and techniques

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively with students of different ages and skill levels

- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching dance

- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons and manage class schedules

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 8 per week
