What are the responsibilities and job description for the Balloon Stylist position at Balloons by Tommy?
Aa Balloon Stylist, you will be responsible for inflating, assembling, and delivering balloon decor according to company guidelines and client specifications. This role requires a mix of individual work and teamwork to ensure timely project completion and exceptional client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Inflation and Assembly:
Follow the daily production schedule and prioritize tasks. Inflate and assemble balloon décor according to company standards and client requirements. You will work both individually and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on time.
Delivery and Setup:
Load and unload vehicles with balloon décor, drive fleet vehicles (box trucks and cargo vans) to delivery locations, and assemble balloon décor on site per company and client directions. Provide excellent and professional customer service to ensure client satisfaction during setup and delivery.
General Office:
You will be responsible for completing the daily opening and closing duties of the shop. Maintain the cleanliness of the shop as well as your work area and any mess you created in common spaces throughout the building. Clean, fuel, and restock delivery vehicles as needed.
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual with a professional appearance.
- Over 21 years of age due to some venue requirements.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and perform tasks that require using your wrists, hands, and fingers while standing, bending, or kneeling regularly.
- Ability to visually identify balloon colors.
- Strong attention to details.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
While this is a fun job, things can sometimes get busy and overwhelming quickly. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and staying calm under pressure is a must. - As an event decor company we are busiest on weekends. Are you available to work weekends?
