Job Posting for Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (Anticipated) at Ballston Spa Central School District
Ballston Spa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy providing oversight of all aspects of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct an ongoing analysis and monitoring of current curriculum initiatives and oversee the implementation and development of new curriculum initiatives
- Be responsible for the leadership and management of:
Instructional coaches, Library media specialists, the K-12 STEM Coordinator, ENL staff, and the Office of Curriculum staff
- Oversee Universal Pre-K: Placements, site visitations and training in curriculum best practices for staff
- Be responsible for the development and submission of Title I, II and IV grants
- Act as the District NYS Testing Coordinator
- Provide ongoing Professional Development for staff as it pertains to curriculum, instruction and assessment
- Provide oversight and support of Enrichment Programs and Young Scholars
- Conduct hiring and provide support for General Education Summer Programs
- Serve on the District MTSS Team
- Provide curriculum support for Homeschool families
- Provide teacher support through Instructional Coaches
- Work with Building Principals and other Administrators to provide direction in the development of their curriculum goals
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification: NYS certification: SDA or SDL
Salary: Commensurate with experience
