Job Summary:
Responsible for complete safety of the pool area. Attends to the needs of guests (i.e., dispenses chairs, towels, ashtrays, etc.) as required. Make yourself available to guests’ questions and commentary so that you can learn from them every day.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offers the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
- Keeps accurate records and files at pool control desk.
- Escorts guest to chairs and place towels on chaise lounges for them.
- Cleans and straightens chairs on deck.
- Maintains pool area throughout the day, continuously removing soiled towels and debris.
- Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors.
- Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
- Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest’s wins.
- Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
- Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.
- Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.
- Promotes Rewards programs and card membership.
- Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in Health Spa environment preferred.
Work Environment:
Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
