Job Summary:

As Supervisor - EVS Casino Housekeeping you will guide and direct EVS Casino Housekeeping Attendants during shifts. Act as a liaison between EVS Attendants and EVS Manager. Schedule staff and maintain standards of cleanliness and service. Act as EVS Manager in EVS Manager's absence.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all associates.
• Recruit, interview, and orient staff.
• Develop and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Train, staff and coach for excellence.
• Conduct inventory of supplies, equipment, and order products.
• Forecast needs and consumption of all supplies.
• Supervise special cleaning projects and organization of all work areas.
• Inspect public areas and corridors.
• Work with staff to ensure all duties and responsibilities are meeting performance standards.
• Provide proper guest service to all associates and guests, handling situations as they occur.
• Available to work varied shifts and complete other duties as assigned.
• Ensure department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Computer email experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous janitorial/housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Previous supervisor or management training or experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, reach, bend, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
• Able to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions.
• Knowledgeable in the operation of a vacuum cleaner.
• Must be able to use chemicals for cleaning.
• Respond to visual and aural cues.

Environmental Working Conditions:

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
