Essential Functions
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
- Provide fast (20-minute or less round-trip time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino customers, and carry full trays on every round.
- Take drink orders from customers, communicate with bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks, and serve drinks accurately and timely.
- Handle money according to procedure.
- Explain drink offerings to customers.
- Effectively use tray service skills to provide fast, friendly, and professional beverage service.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Appropriately use all bar equipment and Micros system.
- Work well with all other team members and all customers.
- Learn and use customers' names to provide personalized, high-level service.
- Effectively resolve service issues according to company guidelines.
- Work well with others, especially other Beverage Servers, Bartenders, Bar Porters, Food and Beverage Supervisors, Table Games team members, and the Slot Department.
- Monitor customers' consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to company policy and procedures regarding customers' alcohol limits.
- Maintain TiPS certification.
- Work closely with Rewards Club to promote new player card sign-up programs.
- Have complete knowledge of, and effectively promote, all casino events and promotional activities.
- Adhere to departmental and property appearance guidelines and uniform requirements.
- Ensure the safety and security of team members and customers.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's Kansas City and departmental management.
- Carry out other duties reasonably assigned by management.
