Pest Control Technician

We are looking for a self-motivated, friendly, honest person to join our team. This person will be responsible for their own pest route, getting to know the customers and properties on that route. They will drive to customers' homes in a company vehicle and treat for unwanted pests. They will be expected to maintain excellent communication with the office staff, managers, and customers of Bama. Pest technicians are paid hourly during a probationary period, then paid a salary plus a percentage of production. They are eligible for sales commissions, bonuses, tips, etc.

We are now on a FOUR-DAY WORK WEEK! Applicants must be available to work on a rotating schedule - 7 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, four-day schedule.

• You will drive to local homes, investigate pest problems, and use a variety of products and techniques to complete their service.
• You will be responsible for communicating to clients in a tactful manner, explaining our services, contracts, and warranties, etc.
• You will fill out some paperwork for each job you go to.
• You will have a calendar that you will check daily to look ahead and be prepared for all appointments.
• You will maintain your equipment and company vehicle.

• Clean driving record is a MUST
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in customer service, pest control, sales, or home services are a plus

We are a small, family-owned and operated business that started in 1930. David, the owner, is the 3rd generation of Bama Exterminating. Two of his children, Joseph and Anna Beth, also work at Bama and will be 4th generation owners. We do residential and commercial pest and termite control, as well as Christmas Decor in the winter.
