We are seeking an Assistant Estimator to join our growing team. The Assistant Estimator will work with Senior Estimators, Preconstruction team and Sales team to review project plans, requirements and specifications. This position will also perform take-offs of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform take-offs using architectural drawings using Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel software.
- Communicate with customers to determine scope of work.
- Assist sales team when reviewing scope of work.
- Solicit vendor pricing.
- Collaborates with other departments as needed.
- Performs other duties and tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong communication skills.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.

- Construction estimator aptitude in the architectural metal industry.
- Knowledge of reading architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam software.
- Prior Estimating Experience preferred, not required.
