Job Description
The IT Manager will lead and manage an IT team responsible for providing end-to-end support for assigned applications and services, including software, infrastructure, security, and data management. The IT Manager will oversee IT projects, ensure compliance with IT controls and standards, manage the operational budget and expenses, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs. This role requires a strong understanding of software applications, IT infrastructure, and operations best practices, as well as excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills. Ultimately, the IT Manager is responsible for ensuring that the assigned IT services are secure and compliant and provide high-quality support to meet the needs of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee an IT team responsible for assigned applications and services.
- For the assigned set of IT services, provide end-to-end support, including software, infrastructure, security, and data management.
- Manage IT projects, including financial management, planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Elicit and analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
- Ensure that IT services are secure and comply with IT architectural standards.
- Provide training and technical support for the set of assigned IT services.
- Ensure compliance with IT controls, including preparing audit reports.
- Manage operational budget and expenses.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and systems to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of IT assets, systems, contracts, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT Managers, Architects, and Project Managers.
- Manage the development and skills advancement of the team.
- Manage vendors and contracts.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience leading technical projects, analyzing business processes, and implementing systems and process improvements.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS solutions.
- Experienced and knowledgeable in business processes such as sales, accounting, and IT service management.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing software and infrastructure projects.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience working across multiple levels, functions, and business units.
- Strong demonstration and presentation skills; experience with providing user training.
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
- Sound understanding of application and integration technologies,
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to link financial results to operational performance drivers.
- A collaborative, team-oriented style, yet able to work independently.
- Highly results- and customer-oriented.
- High level of integrity, including the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, especially Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
