Job Summary
The QA Tester will analyze and interpreting tests for a web application that supports ICAM functionality. You will be responsible for identifying functional problems and suggesting resolutions. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in testing through a full development agile life-cycle including designing, developing and implementing test plans and procedures. They must be a proven self-starter with the ability to problem-solve, communicate, participate in diverse project teams from a technical perspective, and interface effectively with customers, vendor partners, and colleagues.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Verify and validate software products in accordance with Customer requirements and used needs.
- Track testing metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts for caught versus released defects.
- Develop and execute test scripts/cases based on business and/or functional requirements.
- Identify defects/bug issues.
- Perform final testing of releases and may perform other technical and documentation tasks.
- Interact daily with Supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.
- Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Execute pre-written test cases
- Acquire knowledge on testing methodologies
- Analyze test results, bugs, and usability and contribute to existing testing content documentation
- Prepare Test Plans, Test Cases based on client specifications, and prepare reports
- Serve as a technical lead contributing to test team
- Assist in test environment setup and teardown
- Assist in coaching junior staff by helping them to make decisions and solve problem
- Serve as the main point of contact for the client and will work with the client to prioritize testing requirements
- Be responsible for informally leading a test team on a variety of projects.
- Document the basic user level manual, systems manual
- Provide feedback on progress and professional growth to team members as well as managemen
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment
- Passion for ICAM
- Good interpersonal skills, creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, and good work organization
- Strong academic or practical knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, software testing standards, strategies, and the software development cycle
- Adept with writing detailed concise bug reports
- Proven experience executing test cases; drafting and managing test cases for one or more features
- Experience with industry standard test software such as JIRA, TestRail, Confluence, or equivalents
- Experience running build files with software suites such as Visual Studio
- Minimum 1-2 years of quality assurance
