Assistant Merchandising Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Manager to join our team. As a Merchandise Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and displaying of merchandise in our retail store. Your role will involve managing inventory, training and developing others in merchandising and ensuring that the store is visually appealing to customers and company directitive

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability
- Select and purchase merchandise based on market trends and customer preferences
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Create visually appealing displays using planograms and visual design techniques
- Train and supervise store staff on merchandising standards and product knowledge
- Conduct regular store walkthroughs to assess visual presentation and make necessary adjustments
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions on product assortment
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for new products or seasonal campaigns
- Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines and manage cash handling procedures

Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for creating visual merchandising materials
- Knowledge of interior design principles to create aesthetically pleasing store displays
- Experience in inventory control to manage stock levels effectively
- Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in store management or retail sales is preferred
- Familiarity with planograms and their implementation in a retail setting
- Proficient in time management to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $15.86 - $19.10 per hour
