Customer Service Associate

In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and deepening customer relationships while processing routine transactions, problem solving when needed and recommending appropriate solutions to expand relationships.
Functions:
Do Right by delivering personalized customer service and the type of genuine care expected to promote a differentiated customer experience.
Embrace We by supporting the transactional needs of the banking center while also uncovering opportunities to refer customers and prospects to other team members.
Own It by answering customer questions with a can-do attitude, no matter how complex or technical the question, while looking for ways to "WOW" customers with problem resolution.
Introduce Fresh Thinking by educating customers on alternative channels and technologies that provide value and convenience.
Accept and accurately process a variety of financial transactions for customers, including typical consumer and business transactions, i.e., cashing checks, processing payments and facilitating account deposits and withdrawals. This role is Also responsible for following proper balancing procedures.
Be knowledgeable of products, fees and policies and stay current on all offerings that can benefit customers.
Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and stay current on regulation changes including Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations that apply to your position.
Create a positive impact within the communities you serve by investing time in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities and financial literacy initiatives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
1 year(s) cash handling experience in a banking or retail environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to proficiently perform a wide variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.
Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with consumers and small businesses in a structured, goal-based environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling strong collaboration within a team environment.
