About the role
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Finance leader to build our strategic finance team, driving company strategy and financial analysis to help with decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team, department heads, and finance team.
Responsibilities
Company Strategy: Work with the executive team to develop and maintain the company’s strategic roadmap
Strategic Partnerships and M&A: Support the evaluation and execution of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Conduct financial due diligence, assess valuation models, and participate in negotiations.
Business Performance Monitoring: Monitor key financial indicators and performance metrics. Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Capital Allocation: Evaluate and prioritize investment proposals, capital expenditure projects, and acquisitions. Assess the financial viability and return on investment of potential initiatives.
Financial Modeling: Build financial models to evaluate business scenarios, assess investment opportunities, and support long-term strategic financial planning.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategy or banking/equity research related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a music-related industry.
Strong financial planning, modeling, and analysis skills, with a proven ability to drive strategic financial decision-making.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to various stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed, to support the hybrid nature of this role.
