Bay Path is seeking a full-time Nursing Scheduler who will produce a bi-weekly nursing schedule.
The Nursing Scheduler will perform the following responsibilities for the nursing schedule:
- Coordinate the accurate and timely completion of the nursing schedule, for our Nursing Supervisors, Nurses (RNs/LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Schedule nursing and nursing assistant coverage with on-duty nursing staff, or call in off-duty nursing staff as directed to promote adequate nursing staffing for all shifts.
- Update time schedule corrections and ensure timely and accurate posting of the nursing schedule.
- Review staffing with Director of Nursing to ensure staffing hours are within budgeted staffing patterns.
- Work with payroll/human resources to ensure accuracy of the nursing schedule in time and attendance system. Enter nursing schedules for new hires in the nursing department
- Update and maintain nursing roster, process nursing staff time off requests and coordinate schedule change requests from nursing staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: EDUCATION: Minimum of high school diploma. Ability to speak, read and write English. Ability to follow written and oral directions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Experience in clerical, organizational office management.
