Deposit Operations Coordinator
Banesco USA is seeking a Deposit Operations Coordinator for our Deposit Operations unit.
Primary Job Duties:

Create, update and maintain accounts in Account Analysis.

Creates and manages complex accounts and sweeps.
-
Responsible for opening and closing Treasury CD’s
-
Actively identifies overlooked tasks and duplications.
-
Establishes criteria to distinguish existing tasks from BSA requirements.
-
Develops and updates procedures by collaborating with staff.
-
Collaborates with customer experience and Treasury Management to develop new products and rates.
-
Addresses daily challenges and urgent issues.
-
Assists with subpoenas and levies by gathering information.
-
Processes uploading and closing of online accounts.
-
Responsible for monthly review of duplicate CIF records.
-
Reports default customer accounts in ChexSystems, as needed.
-
Reports FDIC Uninsured Accounts, as needed.
-
Assists with setting core system parameters in Jack Henry.
-
Responsible for special projects as assigned.
-
Cross-trained with other positions in the department to provide coverage as needed.

Reviews existing processes and provides recommendations for streamlining, area improvement, and optimization.

Mentors existing staff on updated procedures to prevent non-compliance.
-
Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.

Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
-
Education: Associate Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
-
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in Operations or related field.
-
Proficient and advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Proficient in account analysis.
-
Must have experience working/developing workflows.
-
Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Strong knowledge of banking regulations.
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.

Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.

Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change; comfortable with ambiguity when dealing with new tasks.

Strong interpersonal skills, working with integrity and ethically, upholding the organizational values.

Strong presentation skills to all levels of the organization.

Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently ensuring timely deliverables.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in daily tasks ensuring assignments are completed accurately and on time.
